On the flipside some people turn into the GRINCH so to speak ha ha. You know the Grinch Who Stole Christmas! Just a few words to describe them would be... mean, rude, stealing parking spots when the mall is absolutely crazy, getting the middle finger pointed at you for no reason. All the last minute shoppers stressing over money, and buying out of obligation. Oh boy!!!
Christmas is fast approaching and only 6 weeks away. My motivation in writing this blog post today was to remind you to remember to keep the true meaning of what Christmas is really about. I guess if I had to sum it all up in one word it would be to LOVE. Gifts and presents are wonderful but don't let that be your main focus this year. I love presents and I love to give but sometimes we put too much emphasis on all the material things when that's really not what's important. Spending time with loved ones, cooking a nice meal, or even going out. Most times its the "little things" that mean the most. So don't get overwhelmed or caught up with thinking you need to buy all these expensive gifts to make people happy. I recently read a quote and it stated "Friendship isn't a big thing, its a million little things". I really love that.
So lets remember to stay "Bright and Merry" as this Christmas season is fast approaching.
BRIGHT (Adjective) Giving out or reflecting a lot of light; shining.
MERRY (Adjective) Full of cheerfulness, liveliness, and good feelings.
Quotes that will make you feel Bright and Merry:
"Christmas isn't just a day, its a frame of mind." -Valentine Davies
"One of the most glorious messes in the world is the mess created in the living room on Christmas day." - Andy Rooney
"Christmas is doing a little something extra for someone." -Charles Schulz
"My idea of Christmas, weather old fashioned or modern, is very simple: Loving others. Come to think of it, why do we have to wait for Christmas to do that?" -Bob Hope
"Get Inspired Today!"
Much Love,
