Its a rainy day here in London Ontario and this rainy weather is calling for a DIY - DO IT YOURSELF crafting day. With spring just around the corner I've been getting inspired to lighten things up around my home.
I have had this clear glass holder sitting in my garage for months now waiting for the right time to beautify it and make something fun out of it. I change my vases up from season to season so I always have twigs, flowers and greenery to play around with, when I get the itch to change things up a bit.
So to make this little crafting project to work out all I needed to purchase was a can of white spray paint.
If you are starting from scratch and have none of the above. I would suggest going to a goodwill or value village to hunt and find your base (glass holder or even metal will work) they always have lots to choose from. As far as greenery, flowers and twigs go Dollar stores and Homesence are great choices.
My spray paint that I selected can be purchased at Wal-Mart and its a great price. Krylon Colormaster
semi-gloss white is what I used. Price $5.68/ Drying time is 10 minutes which I love.
You will also need a Styrofoam Ball or crafting foam to hold it all together. -Dollarstore
Happy Crafting!
